holistic health and fitness. Scheduled for Dec. 4 at AUSA headquarters in

Fitness has always been a priority for the United States Army, and they have
doubled down on that with the creation of Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F).
H2F focuses on five pillars of readiness; physical, mental, nutrition, sleep,
and spiritual. The program has been making strides on this front thanks to
leaders such as Lieutenant General Johnny Davis and Command Sergeant Major

The Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness, or H2F, program at Fort Hood has
had major successes for Soldiers and many brigades starting in the upcoming
fiscal year. The program’s purpose is to change the culture of health and

Army Trains NCOs to Bolster H2F Program

September 25, 2025The Fort Dix NCO Academy conducted training as part of the Health and Holistic Fitness Instructor Course (H2F-IC) Class 2-012. Training was conducted on the ASA Fort Dix half-mile track.

The Army has established a new skills qualification identifier for NCOs who
become trained as experts in the Holistic Health and Fitness program,

Army Establishes New Skills
Qualification Identifier for Holistic
Health and Fitness Advisors

In October 2024, the Army established a new Skills Qualification Identifier,
or SQI, for Holistic Health and Fitness, or H2F. The new SQI is called the
H2F Advisor and is designed to serve as the technical and tactical expert
